Casino nights go better when the group arrives together and nobody checks their watch for the last drive home. A chauffeured vehicle gives you that, and the ride up can be part of the fun.
What do we know about the resort?
Casino Rama Resort is at 5899 Rama Rd in Rama, Ontario. It describes itself as Ontario’s only First Nations resort casino, on Rama First Nation. The site lists:
- A hotel of 292 suites and a spa
- A gaming floor that runs around the clock, per the resort
- A 5,000-seat Entertainment Centre
- Dining that includes ATLAS steak and fish, MATCH Eatery and Public House, CHOW Lucky Noodle Bar, Couchiching Court Buffet and The Weirs
We list these for reference only. We are not affiliated with the resort.
How long is the drive?
The resort gives one figure: 90 minutes north of Toronto. There is no official route or kilometre figure on the pages we checked, so we do not name highways. We plan a buffer on Friday evenings and long weekends and treat the time as traffic permitting.
Which vehicle fits your group?
| Group | Vehicle |
|---|---|
| Two to three | Executive sedan |
| Up to six | Luxury SUV |
| Eight to ten | Stretch limousine |
| Larger | Party bus, up to 20+ |
Exact capacity is confirmed with your quote. For bigger parties, ask for the group coach through group transportation.
What to know before you go
The resort requires guests to be 19 or older with government photo ID. Anyone 21 and under also needs a secondary name ID, according to the site. We cannot get an underage guest through the door, so check ages before you book a seat in a group.
