If you searched for a bus to Buffalo airport, you probably need one of two things: a single shared seat, or a way to get your own group there on your own schedule. We cover the second. You reserve a private vehicle with a driver included, set the pickup yourself and ride with only the people you invited.
How is a private car different from a scheduled coach?
| Question | Scheduled coach | Private chauffeured vehicle |
|---|---|---|
| Who rides? | Strangers who bought seats | Only your group |
| Who sets the timetable? | The operator | You |
| Pickup point? | A fixed stop | Home, hotel or office |
| Luggage? | Per the operator’s rules | Planned with you in the quote |
Pick the scheduled coach if you want only a seat. Pick us when the group, the bags or the timing matter more.
Which vehicle fits?
- One to three people: executive sedan
- Up to six with bags: luxury SUV
- A larger group: stretch limousine or party bus
- Very large parties: group coach, by quote through group transportation
Exact capacity is confirmed with your quote.
What do we know about the airport and the border?
Buffalo Niagara International Airport is at 4200 Genesee Street, Buffalo, NY 14225. The airport runs a ground transportation programme and directs commercial operators to its own permit process, so pickup rules there are the airport’s to set, not ours.
For the crossing itself, Niagara Falls Tourism lists three nearby crossings: the Rainbow Bridge, the Peace Bridge and the Lewiston-Queenston Bridge. The Niagara Falls Bridge Commission publishes hours and wait times.
Documents to sort out first
This is general guidance only, pulled from the border agencies:
- US citizens entering the US by land can use a passport, passport card, enhanced driver’s licence or a trusted traveller card. Children under 16 need only a birth certificate or other proof of citizenship.
- Canadian citizens entering Canada are best served by a Canadian passport.
- International visitors need a passport and may need a visa or eTA.
- Minors may need ID plus custody documents or a consent letter.
The CBSA enquiry line is 1-800-461-9999. Confirm the current rules with the agencies, because they change.
What happens next?
Every cross-border request is reviewed on its own. Send these details and we answer clearly, including if the answer is no:
- Pickup address and date
- Flight date and the time you must be at the airport
- Passenger count and citizenship of each person
- Luggage amount
- One-way or return
Once we know the plan we quote the hours, vehicle and any waiting. Crossing times are set at the border, so we cannot promise them.
